ServiceIQ Technologies ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of the businesses and individuals who use our platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using ServiceIQ, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following categories:
- Account information — name, email address, company name, and password (stored and managed through our authentication provider).
- Business data you enter — customer records, service locations, jobs, appointments, estimates, invoices, technician records, and other operational data you create in the platform.
- Accounting integration data — if you authorize a QuickBooks Online connection through Intuit, we may access company information, customers, estimates, invoices, payments, products and services, tax-related records, and related accounting metadata needed to provide the integration.
- Billing and payment information — subscription plan selection and payment details processed through our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Usage and analytics data — pages visited, features used, browser type, device type, IP address, and referral source. This helps us understand how the platform is used and where to improve.
- Communications — messages you send to us via email, SMS, phone, calendar, or contact forms, including support requests.
- SMS opt-in information — phone numbers, consent records, message preferences, and related messaging metadata when you choose to receive text messages from ServiceIQ Technologies.
- Waitlist and inquiry data — name, email, company, and trade if you request access before full launch.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account and provide access to the platform
- Generate dashboards, analytics, and insights from your uploaded data
- Process your subscription and billing through Stripe
- Send transactional emails — confirmations, onboarding guidance, and platform alerts
- Respond to support requests and customer communications
- Send conversational SMS messages when you choose to opt in, including product demonstration, onboarding, technical support, customer service, appointment scheduling, account notification, and general business communications
- Provide accounting sync, invoice and estimate workflows, payment status updates, reporting, and related ServiceIQ features for integrations you authorize
- Improve the platform through aggregate usage analysis (never using your business data to benchmark against other identified companies without consent)
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
- Comply with applicable laws and legal obligations
We do not use your uploaded business data for advertising, and we do not sell it to third parties.
3. Data Storage And Security
Your data is stored on infrastructure provided by reputable cloud providers. We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest where supported by our infrastructure providers.
Access to customer and business data is limited by role-based access controls, account scoping, and operational need. When we store third-party integration credentials or access tokens, such as tokens used for an authorized QuickBooks Online connection, we protect them using credential storage controls and do not display them in the customer interface.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will remove or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention requirements.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We work with trusted third-party providers to operate the platform. These providers may access or process your data only as necessary to perform services on our behalf:
- Authentication — We use Clerk for account creation, login, and session management.
- Payments — Stripe processes all subscription billing. Your payment details are subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Accounting integrations — QuickBooks Online and Intuit may process accounting and company data when you authorize ServiceIQ to connect to your QuickBooks account.
- Email delivery — We use a transactional email provider to send account and platform notifications.
- SMS and communications delivery — We may use communications providers such as Twilio to send conversational SMS messages, customer service messages, appointment scheduling, account notifications, and support communications.
- Calendar, email, and productivity integrations — where enabled, Google, Microsoft, or similar providers may process data needed to support calendar, email, import, or account workflows.
- Hosting and database — Our platform is hosted on cloud infrastructure that stores and processes data on our behalf.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for their own marketing purposes.
5. QuickBooks Online And Intuit Data
ServiceIQ may access QuickBooks Online data only after an authorized user connects QuickBooks through Intuit OAuth. We do not collect or store QuickBooks usernames or passwords.
Depending on the features you enable, QuickBooks data accessed by ServiceIQ may include company information, customers, estimates, invoices, payments, products and services, tax-related records, and related accounting metadata.
We use QuickBooks data only to provide accounting sync, invoice and estimate workflows, payment status updates, reporting, and related ServiceIQ features requested by your company.
You may disconnect QuickBooks from ServiceIQ inside your account, or revoke ServiceIQ access through Intuit or QuickBooks. After disconnect, ServiceIQ stops future QuickBooks syncing, but may retain business records that were previously synced unless those records are deleted under your account settings, support request, or applicable data retention policy.
6. Data Sharing
We share your information only in the following circumstances:
- With service providers as described above, under appropriate data processing agreements
- If required by law, regulation, or a valid legal process (such as a court order or subpoena)
- To protect the rights, safety, or property of ServiceIQ, our users, or the public
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business, in which case your information may transfer to the successor entity
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share mobile opt-in data or SMS consent data with third parties for marketing purposes.
7. Your Rights And Choices
Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Object to or restrict certain processing of your data

You may update your account information at any time from your account settings. You may cancel your subscription from the billing section of your account.
8. SMS And Mobile Opt-In Data
SMS consent is optional. If you provide a phone number and opt in to SMS, ServiceIQ Technologies may send conversational text messages related to product demonstrations, onboarding, technical support, customer service, appointment scheduling, account notifications, and general business communications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share mobile opt-in data or SMS consent data with third parties for marketing purposes. See our SMS Terms for more detail.
9. Cookies And Tracking
ServiceIQ uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your login session, remember preferences, and understand how the platform is used.
Essential cookies are necessary for the platform to function and cannot be disabled. Analytics cookies help us improve the product and may be managed through your browser settings. We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies.
10. Children'S Privacy
